Sweet Etta’s Back Surgery
Donation protected
Hi friends! I’m here to try to raise the funds necessary to get my darling Etta back to her happy, healthy, frolicking self. In early November she was diagnosed with a “mineralized disc” near her L4 L5 vertebrae. We’ve been on 5 weeks of crate rest, steroids, muscle relaxers and anti-inflamatories, but unfortunately only temporary relief has been the result. On Monday 12/11 she will be going in for her operation to remove the mineralized disc at Hillcrest Animal Hospital. We weren’t sure until this most recent vet visit what the ultimate quote might be, but it is unfortunately more than we anticipated. Any thing helps while we focus on the operation and recovery time ahead. I’m just so eager to see my dearest dachshund baby back to her old silly, sassy, active self. Seeing her in so much pain and discomfort has been one of the hardest things to endure. She has been my best friend and my emotional support weenie for the last 7 years, and I just want to do everything I can to provide her the best care and the best chances at recovering her quality of life so that we can continue to grow and learn and love together for many more years to come! Please share, pray or donate if you can and don’t hesitate to reach out for any other info or updates! Thank you all so much for reading and caring! Etta is so special to everyone she meets and to her “little” sisters, Winry and Pinky. We all appreciate any help or good wishes we can get. Stay blessed! Love you!
