Wow, it’s sure been a crazy unpredictable year!! We’ve survived the pandemic this far and we continue to love our community and the support we have from friends and beyond! We have loved every minute of this journey and now we are at the point we must ask for help. We have found out recently that we need to buy our building or move to another location, both which will be costly ventures! Our current situation with our landlord isn’t going to last and without buying our building we will not have our business any longer. With our savings and covid we don’t have the full down payment so we are asking our friends and community for a huge favor. We know times are tight but for us to continue to give Standish the best breakfast sandwiches we need community donations to finally own our space and repair the building to code.

We have taken some loans during covid to cover expenses and slower sales, and to be real with you we are still missing part of our wholesale business which covers part of our pay. We do anticipate those accounts coming back and continued growth in sales this year, but we used a lot of our savings up to accommodate the pandemic.

So our plans have of course changed where we started trying to buy our building and now we are set to move mid July to our new home at 51 Pequawket Trail in Standish! This still will take a considerable amount of money to do as we are currently building out a commercial kitchen! The breakdown is:
Down payment on space: $2,000
First Months Rent: $2000
Hood System: $14,000
Stove: $3,500
New Fridge Unit: $900
Bakery Case (Used): $700
Bread Case (Used): $200
Electrician: $1500
Plumber: $2500
Woodwork: $1000
Total Estimate: $29,000

This is all necessary work and we know it’s crazy but we are so excited and look forward to the move! The old building isn’t in any condition to buy and it’s not possible for us to stay. In long-run this new spot offers more parking anda safer future!!
