For the girl with a golden heart: Maria Susana Obispo
Beneficiary: Cornelia Obispo, Josh and Aya
Fundraising will go to Susana’s mother: Cornelia Obispo to assist her in taking care of Josh and Aya’s education and household expenses
To those that know her, she is plain ol' Susana, but to those who love her deeply, she is Marichu.
Susana is a loving, jolly, genuine, selfless, and caring person. She is a good friend and a helpful co-worker. But above all that, she is a great sibling, a great mother, and a great daughter.
In the early hours of August 2, 2020, a tragic vehicular accident took her away from us. She was on her way to work that day, to a place where she cares for the well-being of patients, strangers to many but souls in need of help through her eyes. Despite having to have this second work to provide for her two sons (13 y/o and 11 y/o) and her mother, she made sure that she lived her life to the fullest, always with a good laugh and a smile that would light up the room.
Susana lived a life of service as a nurse to help others in need. She had an overwhelming work ethic that came from her love of nursing. From being a CNA to an LVN, she was on her way to start yet another journey, this time to becoming an RN. A plan that abruptly and sadly would never come to fruition.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel they say, and for Susana that light is the legacy of love she left behind, a love that shines brightly through her family. The fund generated from this campaign is for that family. Susana is the sole bread winner of her household and now that she’s gone, the future becomes unclear and uncertain for them. Those boys need all the help they can. When you give, please think of them as this is a difficult time for them.
Imagine needing a home above your head, good schooling to have a better future someday, food for sustenance, those are just three of the many others that they need help with.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone right now and we thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate any amount that can be shared.
Please forward the link to as many people you know who have been touched and blessed by Susana's life or to anyone willing to help because they understand the difficulty of losing a love one.
