Many of you know Neil Reichmuth and his story, but for those who don’t, here’s a summary: He is a 44 year old married family man, with a wife, Rae Ann and two young boys, Otto, 8 and Aksel, 7. They have been married for 13 years and live in Livermore, Ca. Neil has been living with chronic Liver disease since he was 16 years old. Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) is a rare, chronic and potentially life threatening, serious bile duct disease, and is curable with a liver transplant. After years of living with his disease and suffering with many complications associated with PSC, he had a Liver transplant performed in April of 2013.After 5 years of relatively good health, his PSC has returned again, and he is again in need of another Liver transplant. He was as high as number two on the transplant list to receive another Liver transplant. He is currently at UCSF Medical center in San Francisco with complications because of the immunosuppressant drugs for transplant that he receives. As a result of these drugs which weakens the immune system, he has developed PTLD (Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder) a form of Lymphoma, which has to be treated first and he must be in remission before he can be reinstated on the Liver transplant list.
This brings us to Neil’s 1969 Camaro that has been his car since he was 13 years old and has been working on it off and on since then. In the last year, it has been at That Guy Innovations in Ripon, Ca, undergoing a transformation from a slightly modified Camaro, to a full Pro Touring Camaro. Neil is now unable to follow through with the details of the build, and Robert Wyrsch, owner of That Guy Innovations, is wanting to finish the car as a HUGE surprise! In order to do that, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Let’s surprise Neil and lift his spirits! It is Neil's dream to finish the Camaro and share his hobby with his boys. If you would like to help with a donation of any amount it would be helpful and much appreciated. Thank you!
