We are currently facing an urgent veterinary situation involving one of our young horses, a 3-year-old filly requiring surgery for a rare and serious bone condition. (osteoblastoma / radial ossesous cyst)

This condition is extremely uncommon, with very limited documented cases.

At the same time, we have a second horse also requiring time-sensitive internal surgical intervention, with both procedures being coordinated to take place together.

Based on veterinary advice, surgery is the only realistic option to give them the best chance of recovery and long-term comfort.

Over the past few months, we’ve experienced an exceptionally difficult run of veterinary issues across multiple horses. Despite this, we have continued to prioritise their care and have already committed well over $5,000 toward immediate veterinary treatment across our horses during this recent period.

This is not a situation where we can delay. Acting now gives both horses the best possible outcome.

Both are young horses with every chance ahead of them with timely intervention, and we are committed to doing everything we can to give them that opportunity.

We have explored all available options and are proceeding based on professional veterinary advice. The costs involved are fair and reflect the level of expertise and care required.

Asking for help is not something we take lightly, but we are committed to doing everything we can to give them this chance.
