Hello, my name is Leisha Beard, and I am the sister of Kerri Opel and sister-in-law of Brian Opel. Anyone who knows them knows that Kerri and Brian would never ask for help themselves — so I’m asking on their behalf.

Two weeks ago, Brian suffered a spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (bleeding on the brain). He is facing ongoing medical tests, treatments, and expensive prescriptions. It’s uncertain how long Brian’s recovery will take — likely several more months.

I am reaching out to ask for your help to ease their financial burden. Any donation — no matter how small — will be directed toward medical expenses, prescriptions, and household bills as Brian continues to recover.
