We’re coming together to support our much loved Nolly who is 68 years young and currently facing an incredibly challenging time.
Noelene has recently been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma (GBM), a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. This diagnosis has been life changing for her and for all of us who love her. GBM is complex and fast-growing, and treatment focuses on managing symptoms, slowing progression where possible, and prioritising comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Noelene is a cherished wife, mum, grandmother, aunty, sister, friend and someone who has always put others first. Right now, our focus is on surrounding her with care, love, and support, while also easing the practical and financial pressures that come with such an overwhelming diagnosis.
Funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used to support Noelene and her family in a variety of ways, including (but not limited to):
- Gaps and out-of-pocket costs not covered by Medicare or private health insurance
- Medical, alternative, and complementary therapies
- Quality of life supports to bring comfort, peace, and dignity
- Family support needs during this time
- Memory making opportunities so precious moments can be shared and cherished
- Any other care, support, or living needs that arise for Noelene during this journey
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps relieve some of the financial stress on the family which allows them to focus on what truly matters which is being present, supporting Noelene, and making the most of the time they all have together.
We are deeply grateful for the kindness, generosity, and compassion shown by everyone who donates, shares this page, or keeps Noelene and her family in their thoughts. Your support means more to us than words can express, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts
