Supporting Melina's Education

Many of us are mourning the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Effie Kapsalis. In the spirit of networks of care that Effie herself built and nourished, your donation will support Melina, Effie and Andrew's daughter.

Effie encouraged Melina's interests, modeled bold feminism, and cultivated independent thinking, therefore we want to support Melina in the educational pursuits of her choice. This can be a way of celebrating Effie while also acknowledging the profound impact of this loss on Melina. Because it is difficult to predict the types of support needed moving forward, Andrew will be the beneficiary.
