Hello everyone.
This is a fundraiser for Carrie Wiebe.
Carrie was one of the two young ladies that were brutally attacked in their work parking lot. Both were transported to Kelowna general hospital where unfortunately Carries co worker and friend had passed away. Carrie was in serious condition and now has a long and rough road ahead in her recovery. Both physically and certainly mentally. Any money raised will be going directly to Carrie and her family for any and all expenses related to her recovery. Any money raised above and beyond that will go towards helping Carrie with her new fight and goal to challenge and change the laws in British Columbia regarding domestic abuse ! Let's all come together as a community and show our support.
Thank you everyone.
Unfortunately Carrie is still not able to work. She is struggling with medical and mental health issues at this time. I am just trying to get the fundraise back in the publics eye. She has started the process of changing the laws in British Columbia that deals with domestic violence. There is an online petition that is going around. This will be brought to our local MPs and eventually parliament. Its a rather lengthy process. i want to thank everyone that has donated to the help and cause.
