Many of you know our dear friend Byron and how is has bravely battled a failing heart for years.

On December 16th, 2023 Byron was hospitalized and has endured an extended stay in critical care trying to qualify to receive a new heart.

Thankfully, on February 21st, 2024, Byron received a life-saving heart transplant.

While this is fantastic news, the journey isn't over. After months in the hospital and overcoming various health challenges, Byron is now transitioning to a rehabilitation facility on March 25th.

To ensure a smooth recovery and regain his independence, Byron will need some additional support, including:

Caregivers: Assistance with daily tasks will be crucial during this initial recovery phase.

Home Modifications: Adjustments to his living space are necessary to accommodate his needs.

We're reaching out to ask for your help. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in supporting Byron's recovery. It would be a tremendous weight lifted off his shoulders, allowing him to focus on getting stronger.
