Support Atessa's healing after fatal car crash

In life's circle we often come to points that test us. Our family has come to one of these points in time. My sister Atessa, and my niece Isabella have been involved in a very serious car accident. Tragically, Isabella's life was cut short in this crash and Atessa now has a long road to recovery.

With a severe traumatic brain injury, many broken bones, the loss of her daughter and countless decisions to be made, I'm sure you can all imagine how difficult and stressful this time is for Atessa and the members of our family acting as caregivers.

We apologize that we were not able to reach out to everybody personally to break this terrible news. We have few answers to give those seeking to help. Now is the time where Atessa's recovery is a 'wait and see' situation. She has been improving daily and each day of decreased swelling will only add to her health.

I hope everyone can understand that what Atessa needs now is time and resources to heal. To that point, we have set up a gofundme page so that friends and family can share their comments and support without bombarding her or her caretakers with questions. Any proceeds from this page will go toward Atessa's swiftly growing medical bills and expenses, as she will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.
