Support for the Fiebig Family - A cancer story
Tim & Terri Fiebig; husband and wife, parents, grandparents, friends, church members, co-workers, and community members. On Friday October 23, 2015, Tim and Terri Fiebig received news that would change their world. After a short, what appeared to be harmless illness, Terri sought treatment to determine cold, flu or other; only to receive the diagnosis of inoperable pancreatic cancer that has spread to her lungs. This news has undoubtedly stunned the entire family.
Terri is a devoted wife, daughter, mother and grandmother to two precious granddaughters and 4 beautiful children. For the past three years, Terri has worked for the Bible translation organization, Bibles International. Terri is truly a beautiful woman.
Tim and Terri are now creating their family’s ‘Bucket List’, and identifying special moments with their family while Terri’s health is suitable for travel. While they look inward together, Tim & Terri’s friends, family, co-workers, church family and community are reaching out to help in any way they can.
In an effort to support Tim and Terri in their desire to gather their family for a family retreat, this Go Fund Me fundraiser, is focused on raising funds to defer the expenses associated with a family gathering that provides everything for the family to create lasting memories. This fundraiser, allows all of us, friends or acquaintances of the Fiebig’s, or those that have walked in their shoes, the opportunity to come together as one, united in purpose to uplift this family.
If the funds received exceed the amount needed for the family retreat, all remaining contributions will be used to support Tim & Terri’s upcoming healthcare journey. Any donation, whether it’s a dollar or ten thousand dollars will add up to ensure that not only the wish of family togetherness can become a reality, but that Tim & Terri’s over 30 years of work and preparation for retirement is preserved into the future.
