Support SWCP (South West Cerebral Palsy)
Donation protected
Hi my name is Julie and our club SWCP are looking for support for the new 2024/25 ⚽️ Season & Beyond.
All of the clubs players have Cerebral Palsy or an associated condition such as Stoke or Acquired Brain Injury.
We train and play matches from September through to May.
Our club is based in Bridgwater (Somerset) but we have players travel from all counties in the South West of England.
Cerebral Palsy along with other disabilities can be very isolating but we pride ourselves on being able to offer regular football / physical activity to the players who access our club.
The players tell us that the environment we create is really supportive and gives a family type feel and sense of belonging which not only supports the players physical well being but mental well being as well.
There are only around a dozen similar teams in England so playing against other teams with Cerebral Palsy often entails significant travel.
We are often invited to play in International games in Europe and the USA and we again have these as possible trips for next season.
Through our summer break we are trying to find sponsors whether they be large or small to help support our club to thrive through the coming seasons.
Here are a few things your support could help with:
£10 - Training Ball
£35 - Match Football
£40 - Hotel Accommodation Away Trip
£50 - Referee Fee
£70 - Venue Hire for a training session
£100 - Players kit package
£100 - Venue Hire for a match day
£200 - Sponsor a player to Dublin Tournament
£1000;- Sponsor a player to the CP World Club Cup in 2025
As a club we are self funded and while we do organise our own fundraisers as with all small clubs costs continue to rise.
We would there be very appreciative of any amount that you can support with whether as an individual or organisation.
if you would like more information about our club please get in touch - thanks for reading - Julie
