Support Ken Norris in his Fight for Recovery

My name is Kyle Norris and my brother is Ken Norris. If you know Ken, you know he travels for work all the time. Ken has worked in many states across the United States and he really enjoys his work and traveling. Recently Ken travelled to Chicago, Illinois for a job, with his work team out of Sarasota, Florida where he has been living for several years. He called his parents and told them where he was at and that he was enjoying seeing Chicago when he had some time off. In the final days of March, we aren't exactly sure the date, Ken was found in a gas station where he was nonresponsive, unconscious, no phone, no wallet (where he kept his identification card and monies) were all gone. After Emergency Services were called, Ken was unidentified and transported by EMS to the local hospital. On his way to the hospital paramedics quickly became aware that the person they were working on was in bad shape and upon arrival to the Hospital he was rushed to the ICU where doctors discovered he had a lethal blood/alcohol level, while no other drugs were found in his system his body was shutting down. Doctors decided to put him in a medically induced coma, this way they could help his body remove the poison that was keeping him unconscious and in the the rough shape he was found. He was intubated and started receiving life saving medications. During all this a nurse was assigned to identify the person she was working on saving. After a few days my parents received a call, and on April 1st what they were told about potentially their child was not a joke! My mother called me and together we found a couple good face photos so the nurse could use to positively identify her patient as Ken Norris. Ultimately my parents were told that they had started trying to bring Ken out of his coma but were unsuccessful. For many days they kept working on him while also letting his body heal and rest more. Unfortunately they are still unsuccessful. Now my parents have been told that he has been placed on more advanced life support and I believe it is time I travel to Chicago to support my brother. My parents are unable to travel at this time so Ken desperately needs someone by his side encouraging him to get off life support and out of his coma so he can come back home! Unfortunately I realized after searching for flights I was going to need some help to get there. I plan on flying to Chicago and use rideshares from the airport to travel to the hospital Ken is being treated at (approx. 30 mins from the airport.) I am hoping I will be allowed to stay in the ICU with Ken like I have in the past with my daughter Charlotte, she had to do this many times before she passed away from a rare disease in 2023. I have no way to know how long I will need to stay, but I at least plan to stay until he is awake and Doctors assure me he is on a road to recovery. I will need a one way ticket now and a one way ticket back once my mission is completed. I will need monies for rideshares, food during my trip, and since I'm unsure how long I'll need to be gone I need to leave my son behind, and I'll need to find care for him as he has to return to school after missing days recently with an illness. I also plan on requesting help from Law Enforcement in Chicago, to find Kens work team and find out what happened on the day leading to him being found alone and unconscious in a gas station and locating any monies and his phone I am assuming was stolen before he was rushed to the Emergency Room. If there is anyway you can donate to help me, help my brother please use this GoFundMe account to do so. My family and I, and I know Ken would be forever grateful for the assistance. My parents are deeply saddened they cannot travel that far to be with their son. Having me there will allow my parents to facetime with their son. They want to be able to see him and also encourage him to pull through this! We don't want to lose Ken! If you are unable to donate, please share this on your social media apps, so all Ken's family and friends see this, can donate and pray for Ken! Thank You
