Support Honey’s fight for Life and Health!

Hello this is our Golden Retriever Honey, We brought Honey to the ER after we noticed she wasn’t as energetic as she usually is, it was her time of the month and we thought she just got an infection down there. She had it very inflamed. The Vet told us she had Pyometra a highly severe and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus. This infection causes an accumulation of pus within the uterus, which results in the dog becoming very ill. With pyometra, toxins and bacteria can infiltrate the wall of the uterus and then leak into the bloodstream. Pyometra can be caused from bacterial infections, stress but mainly by not having your dogs neutered!! We learned the hard way, IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON BREEDING YOUR DOGS, PLEASE PLEASE GET THEM NEUTERED!! IT CAN CAUSE MANY COMPLICATIONS FOR THEIR LIFE!! Lesson learned! With a hospital stay and IV fluids/antibiotics, This can range from $4000-$6000 in the United States, fortunately we are in Mexico and the Vet bills are much cheaper than the states, they told us it will be $2000 US dollars for her mandatory emergency surgery! I love this dog more than I love myself. She has been with me through the worst moments of my life. I have never loved anything the way I love her. I will give up anything for her to be okay.
