My older sister Gaby spent two months in the hospital, waiting for a liver transplant. Sadly, her organs began to fail, she was put on dialysis , but even after weeks with doing dialysis, her body couldn't recover. She lost her motor functions , and the doctors told us that there was nothing more they could do, and she had about a week left. During that week she lost her ability to speak and wasn’t awake and aware as much as before .

She was in immense pain, and each day she lost more of her ability to speak and stay alert. We made the difficult decision to put her on comfort care, and she peacefully passed away within hours that same day.

Our hearts are broken. We are reaching out for any help you can offer to cover her funeral expenses and allow her to rest in peace.
