Expenses for Adam’s Family
David “Adam” Jenkins tragically passed away on May 2, 2020. Adam was an amazing person! He truly gave his last to anyone that needed it. He had an amazing work ethic, and an even bigger heart! He LOVED the Reds, the Lakers, Flaming Hots, and Grippos. But what he loved even more was his Family.
In Nov. of 2011, Adam and I started dating, and from then on spent everyday with each other learning how to grow as adults. We had four children, Noah (7), Nova (6), Hendrix (2016-2017), and Mattaux (3). Our family was his LIFE! He worked multiple jobs to take care of us, sometimes 2 at a time. Especially when I began training as a midwife in 2017.
On 3/23/2020, our family found ourselves homeless. We were bouncing back and forth between our car, and hotels for a little over month, until we moved on May 3, 2020. Thankfullywe had just enough to pay our deposit and firsts month rent to start over as a family.
With Adam passing so suddenly it’s put our family in a new bind. Not only did we lose the main financial provider, we lost a dad, a partner, and consistency which are important for our family in these growing stages.
We are asking our tribe for help during this time, to help our family get to our new normal.
Thankfully, Adam will be buried with Hendrix, but that puts out a need for a new headstone for both of them. We also need help covering our new expenses for our home. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover our rent, and car note for the next three months, while I find a job that is flexible to our family’s schedule, and let our applications for assistance be approved. (IF ANYONE HAS ANY JOB LEADS PLEASE SHARE THOSE WITH ME!) We are also hoping to raise enough money to cover their new headstone, a new orb by Artful Ashes, and the things we are still missing for our home.
