Hope for Ays: Support Her Medical Journey

Donation protected
Fourteen years ago, my life took an extraordinary turn when I discovered I was expecting natural quadruplets. Tragically, only one of my precious babies, my sweet Ayslea Hope, survived. Born into this world with immense courage, Ayslea faced immediate challenges, as all four babies, including her, were diagnosed with genetic abnormalities.

Despite these obstacles, Ayslea has displayed incredible strength and resilience. Battling spina bifida occulta and hypotonia, she spent five years of weekly therapies at Texas Children’s Hospital striving to achieve what many take for granted—the ability to walk and eventually run. With determination, she overcame hurdle after hurdle, but last year brought new challenges.

Ayslea was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, and shortly thereafter, persistent chest pains led to the discovery of heart issues, culminating in a diagnosis of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). As we began navigating these conditions, we also noticed symptoms consistent with lupus, and she is now undergoing ongoing tests for this incurable disease.

We have been without health insurance for two years, struggling to secure coverage, and Ayslea is needing ongoing medical treatment. To seek support and provide her with the care she urgently needs, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign. The funds will be used for previous medical expenses, upcoming pediatric rheumatology, gynecology, hematology, electrophysiology, cardiomyopathy, genetic testing, surgery, and other medical expenses.

If you’ve had the privilege of meeting Ayslea, you know she is a beacon of light. Her kind heart, gentle spirit, and quiet strength inspire everyone around her. Ayslea has defied the odds since the moment she fought to survive 34 weeks in my womb, and I believe she will continue to persevere.

Please consider contributing to Ayslea’s GoFundMe campaign, sharing our story, or even sending a card or prayer. Every gesture makes a difference. Together, we can bring hope and healing to this precious child of God and show her that she is deeply cherished.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Your kindness means more than words can express. God bless you all!
