I’m a single mom fighting to keep my children safe and loved this holiday season — two of them have autism, and we’ve faced a year full of unexpected challenges. Your support can bring stability, comfort, and a little magic into their lives.
Hi, my name is Kayla. I’m a single mom doing everything I can to care for my three beautiful children — my 14-year-old son, my 6-year-old daughter, and my 4-year-old son. Two of my children are autistic, each with their own unique needs, strengths, and challenges. Every day is filled with love, learning, and moments that test and grow me as a mother. This year has been one of the hardest we’ve ever faced. Since January — and especially these past few months — life has been an uphill battle. I’ve been navigating constant changes, unexpected expenses, and trying to hold everything together completely on my own. I’m still waiting for state services and support, but the process moves slowly, and in the meantime, the bills, responsibilities, and stress keep piling up.
With the holidays approaching, my heart aches to give my children a Christmas that feels stable, warm, and full of love. They’ve endured so much change this year, and they deserve a moment of joy and comfort — something to remind them that they are safe, cared for, and surrounded by love. Asking for help is never easy for me, but right now, we truly need it.
Any support no matter the amount will go directly toward keeping us afloat during this difficult season, covering essentials and giving my kids a Christmas they can look back on with happiness instead of worry. Your support helps ensure my children continue having a safe place to sleep. Stability means everything — especially for my children with autism, who struggle deeply when their routine or environment
My children urgently need basic clothing and care items. With three growing kids — including children with autism — these everyday necessities are essential to help them feel comfortable, clean, and confident. Holiday Support After a year full of instability and constant challenges, I just want to give my children even a small moment of joy. A simple Christmas — a couple of gifts or comfort items — would remind them that they are loved, safe, and still allowed to feel joy despite everything happening around us.
Medicine, Transportation, & Critical Support Life with three kids, including children with autism, means constant unexpected needs — doctor visits, medicine, emergencies, and transportation when there’s no other option. These expenses show up without warning, and your support helps make sure my children never have to go without when it matters most.
Your support no matter how big or small is more than just financial help. It’s a reminder to my children that even when life feels overwhelming, there are people in this world who care, who see them, and who want to help them feel safe, loved, and supported. Every donation brings us closer to stability, comfort, and a little magic during this difficult season. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with my family, lifting us up, and giving my children hope when we need it most.
