Organized by his daughters, Mindy and Alicia, and his son, BJ (Billy Wood Jr.)

Our dad, Bill Wood, is currently facing the fight of his life. In September 2025, he was diagnosed with Extensive-Stage (Stage 4) Small Cell Lung Cancer.

Since then, he has endured 90 days of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation.

Despite his incredible strength, the cancer has progressed rapidly and has now metastasized to his hip, pelvis, spine, liver, bones, and brain.

Dad now requires 24-hour care, and his decline has been the most heartbreaking thing we have ever experienced.

His wife, Leanne Wood, has been his rock and primary caregiver. However, adding to this heartbreak, Leanne recently suffered a severe injury, breaking her ankle in three places. She is now providing Dad with around-the-clock care while recovering from her own surgery and being unable to return to her two jobs.

While Dad was approved for disability in November 2025, the funds are being held due to a mandatory waiting period.

His first payment will not be released until May 2026. We are starting this fundraiser to help Dad and Leanne stay afloat during this challenging time .

These funds will go directly toward monthly bills and housing costs to ensure they keep their home, as well as providing daily living expenses during this unfortunate and uncertain time.
