Give hope to Ukrainian family refugees for a full life, half a world away from home, which no longer exists.
My name is Hannah. I am a mother of three children, we are refugees from Ukraine, from Mariupol. From the city where our house was burned and completely destroyed. I am here to share my story and ask for help from caring people. Who are willing to take the time, listen, support morally, donate any amount, as well as share our story with friends and acquaintances as much as possible.
Our life is divided into Before and After. Before the war, when we were all happy, we didn't need anything, and after that, when we remained homeless and absolutely need everything, having lost our home, job, health and future. We have survived hell, but hell is still inside each of us. Time does not heal.
Our hell has begun
On February 24, when Russia invaded our country and brutally, ruthlessly destroyed our city of Mariupol, destroying it completely, burning it to the ground, killing many innocent people, children. It is impossible to forget, relive, erase from memory. We spent a terrible time in the basement of the house, hiding from bombs and explosions, airstrikes, without water, electricity, communications and minimal food supplies before we managed to escape. We drank water from the batteries and collected snow, heated it on fire and drank too. Stay and die or take a chance and survive? We survived. But our hearts are with wounds that bleed. My little children saw the corpses of people who were just lying on the road, no one had cleaned them up. My children saw their house burned to the ground, all their things, toys, their childhood, their future - everything turned to ashes.
We lost everything we had, everything we earned. My husband worked very hard so that his family didn't need anything.
I believe in the kindness of people, I believe in God. I know that when people unite, they can do the impossible. Help us make our dream come true so that we have a roof over our heads. So that we can calm down and feel confident and calm. Every dollar is important to us.
