But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
— 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Keith and Megan exemplify what it means to be strong during life’s most difficult moments. Over the past few years, they have faced trial after trial—but through it all, their love for God and for each other has never wavered.
When I first met my brother in law four years ago, I’ll admit—I was skeptical. I didn’t quite know what Megan was thinking. But Keith quickly changed my mind. He showed me what an incredible man he is: taking on the role of father to Megan’s children, working tirelessly to support their family, and remaining devoted to both God and his loved ones no matter what challenges came their way.
In 2020, Keith was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent surgery to remove a grade 2 glioma roughly the size of a golf ball. The operation was successful, and Keith has been closely monitored ever since. However, in July, an MRI revealed that the cancer had aggressively returned. In just two weeks, the tumor had grown more than a centimeter. Due to its rapid progression, his neurosurgeon is recommending immediate surgery in the coming days.
And through all of this, Megan continues to be a pillar of strength. She is selfless, always finding joy in serving others, and reminding everyone around her to find beauty in the chaos. Megan has faced her own share of hardship—this past year, she was diagnosed with debilitating fibromyalgia and other chronic health issues. Despite the pain, she fights every day to be the best wife and mom she can be.
On top of her own health struggles, Megan cares full-time for their youngest son, Brixton, who was recently diagnosed with level 3 Autism. She is currently unable to work due to her condition and Brixton’s needs as well as caring for their 3 other children
Keith has been the sole provider for their family, and with this new health crisis, he will need to take significant time off work to focus on treatment and healing.
We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward:
Keeping a roof over their heads
Providing basic needs for their four children
Covering household expenses
Paying for the mounting medical and hospitalization costs
If you’re unable to give financially, your prayers and willingness to share their story are just as meaningful.
Thank you for standing with Keith, Megan, and their children in this season. Your love, encouragement, and support mean more than words can express. We will continue to share updates as we walk through this journey together.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
— Psalm 46:1
