My name is Sam. I’m 24 years old and a Jewish photographer. Over the past year, I’ve begun a meaningful journey of returning to Judaism and strengthening my connection with G-d. This journey started on 23 August 2024 and has been shaped by the warmth, guidance, and support of the Jewish community around me. Through my photography business, SB Creatives Photography, I’ve had the privilege of capturing special moments for families and community events. Photography is more than just my profession — it’s how I contribute, give back, and help preserve meaningful memories within the community. With G-d’s help, I’m planning to travel to the United States and Israel, depending on the update with the situation in the coming months, for a six-month period. The purpose of this trip is to immerse myself in strong Jewish communities, attend learning opportunities, and continue strengthening my religious life, including spending the high holidays in NYC. My goal is to grow spiritually, develop better structure and direction, and return home better equipped to be a responsible and contributing member of the community. This journey will also allow me to continue developing my photography and use my skills to give back to the communities that support me.
