Help Maile Hale race King of the Hammers desert race!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Maile Hale and as a 17-year-old girl, I was given the great honor of being the first young woman sponsored by the Jessi Combs Foundation to participate in the King of The Hammers (KOH) Rookie Program for the January 2025 KOH race! You can learn more about the race and the rookie program at https://kingofthehammers.com/.
I will be competing on David Beckett's Bent Motorsports team in the UTV class in my 2021 Yamaha RMAX2 1000. I am taking welding classes at Palomar College and Bent Motorsports is teaching me how to weld the roll cage along with all of the other labor and fabrication needed to get the car race compliant.
Since initially starting this GoFundMe page, I have made a lot of progress. PRP has graciously helped me with racing seats, harnesses, nets and more! Baja Designs has helped with lights. Weller Racing has helped me with much needed upgraded steering rack and tie rods!
So, why the GoFundMe?? I'm raising funds to help offset the remaining costs including race entrance fees, safety certified race suits and helmets, a winch, and race radios. I'm really close and just need a little more help.
I would love any support I can get, even if it is just to help with gas money! If you're local, I could trade some services, like martial arts private lessons (kickboxing, boxing, Krav Maga and general self-defense).
Finally, please take a minute and learn more about the Jessi Combs Foundation: https://thejessicombsfoundation.com/. She left a strong legacy and blazed a trail for young women like me in the world of motorsports.
