Support for the Family of LaTosha Mite

Earlier this month, our dear friend Tosha suffered a massive stroke. As devastating as this was, her family and friends rushed to her side to help her find the will to live…and she did! For those of you that knew Tosha, it may not have surprised you that she beat the odds and was making a miraculous recovery.

 

Tragically, after Tosha was transferred to a rehab facility, she suffered a heart attack and passed away.

 

She left three children heartbroken and lost.

 

Determined to honor their momma, the kids have done things no young adult should have to do. They said goodbye to Tosha and planned her funeral and celebration of life. These three are just finding their way in life, making plans to start their educations and careers. This is an extreme financial responsibility for them when they should be investing in their futures, something Tosha was determined that they do.

 

We are raising funds to reimburse a portion of the expenses that Tosha’s kids have needed to cover for end of life arrangements.This will offset some of the financial responsibility for Briara, NeNe and Bryant.

 

Many of you also know Bryant Virnig, the love of Tosha’s life and the father of her children. He is helping the kids plan services while grieving the loss of Tosha. His loss is profound as Tosha and Bryant were making new plans for their future as their kids moved into adulthood.

 

All funds will transfer directly to Bryant Virnig and be used to pay for end of life arrangements. 

 

This was an unexpected tragedy and loss. Anything you can donate to support this family will make a difference in the days to come as they say goodbye one last time. Thank you.
