On the evening of April 14, my mother was rushed to the hospital due to excruciating pain in her hip and foot resulting from a fall. Prior to being transferred to VRPMC hospital, she was hospitalized in another hospital for a week, but she was discharged as the doctor from the previous hospital stated that they were unable to provide further treatment due to my mother's pre-existing heart condition. They only prescribed pain relievers for her foot and discharged her. During her time at home, she was in constant pain, often screaming and crying. Witnessing her in such distress was extremely difficult for us, and we subsequently rushed her to the nearest hospital. We are grateful that my mother is receiving excellent care at this hospital. Two days ago, the doctor performed surgery to treat bedsores, as the wounds were severe and required attention before the hip and foot surgery could be performed. Regarding her heart condition, the doctor assured us that it was safe to proceed with the surgery while closely monitoring her heart. It has only been a week, and we were taken aback by the hospital bill. Although the hospital has provided exceptional care for my mother, the costs are substantial. Nevertheless, we have decided to continue her treatment there until she fully recovers. We eagerly await the day she can walk again. The funds will help cover substantial medical bills from her ongoing hospital stay, surgeries, and treatment. This support will ease the financial burden on our family and ensure my mother receives the care she needs to recover and walk again. We respectfully ask for any assistance you can provide.
