Meet Vida & Her 5 Kids
Hello, my name is Conny Ochoa, and I am raising funds for my dear friend Vida. Tragically, she lost her husband, Ruben, in a car accident just two weeks before Christmas, leaving her to care for their five young children alone. Vida and her children live in Tecate, Baja, Mexico. Vida and the
children are still in shock as they try to process this sudden, heartbreaking loss.
Ruben was a man of God, a devoted husband, and a loving father. He will always be remembered for his big, warm smile, his happy spirit, and his constant willingness to help others. He worked tirelessly for his family, but sadly, he did not have a life insurance policy. This leaves Vida to provide for Xelinda (12), Reyner (11), Urias (10), Dariel (8), and Taimari (3) on her own.
What makes this situation even more critical is that the previous year, in October 2024, the family lost their home and all their belongings in a devastating fire. They are still recovering from that immense loss, and this new tragedy has left them with almost nothing.
We created this GoFundMe to support Ruben's family during this incredibly difficult time.
