Update 7/19/2025: Gener has recently passed away as of July 18th at 10:40 PM. At the time of writing this we are currently dealing with funeral arrangements and contacting friends and family about his passing. Service date to be determined.

It is with heavy hearts that we share news of Gener Uriza’s final days. After a 7-year fight against cancer, Gener, a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, is at home receiving compassionate care to ensure his passing is as comfortable as possible.

Gener’s spirit has always been defined by his love and dedication to his family, tirelessly working to support his wife and sons, and facing illness with incredible courage, always holding onto hope for more time with those he loves. Now, as his journey nears its end, we are faced with the profound grief of impending loss.

We’re reaching out to the community of family, friends, and kind hearts to help with the financial burden that comes with arranging a funeral and burial for Gener. Donations will directly assist with these expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated.
