Support for Elliott Alman after a life-changing accident
Donation protected
On Christmas Eve Elliott (18) was the victim of an accidental shooting. The bullet punctured his lung, breaking ribs, hitting his spinal cord and shattering vertebrates. He was rushed to University Medical Center in New Orleans where he remained for nearly 4 weeks. He is currently diagnosed with a spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis below the waist. He has recently moved to Touro’s in-patient rehabilitation center.
Elliott, son of Jay Alman and Lindsey Baas Reece and step-son of Greg Reece, is a life-long Slidell resident. He attended Bonne Ecole, Slidell Jr. High and is a recent graduate of Slidell High Class of 2024, where he excelled on the Varsity Soccer team.
The funds raised will directly support Elliott's intensive physical and occupational therapy, home modifications, as well as the specialized medical equipment and mobility aids needed to help him regain some independence. While the road ahead is long, Elliott's courage and determination to defy the odds is inspiring.
Please continue to send your love and positive energy his way. Your support, whether through prayers, donation or sharing of his story can make a profound difference in this young man's life. Join us in rallying behind Elliott and his family during this critical time. Together we can help him build a new future filled with possibility.
