**Support a Tribute to Veterans**

Hello,

My name is Aletha Williams, and I am the primary artist behind a heartfelt mural dedicated to honoring our veterans. While I was fortunate to receive a grant to begin this project, the funding did not cover all the costs required to bring it to completion, especially for excess labor and overhead.

The grant covered supplies and compensation for two assistants, but due to the scale of the building and the intricate details involved, I underestimated the time and resources needed. Unfortunately, the funding wasn’t enough to rent essential equipment like a lift or scaffolding. As a disabled veteran myself, I relied on an extension pole for most of the work, and I used a ladder when absolutely necessary—making the process physically taxing but deeply meaningful.

I was determined to finish this mural as a tribute to those who have served, even without receiving full compensation for my efforts. However, I am now seeking your support to help cover some of the unpaid labor that went into this project.
