About Us:

Assalamu Alaikum! We are Walid and Sara, a resilient couple from Gaza, striving to rebuild our lives amidst the devastation caused by the recent conflict. Before the war struck Gaza in October 2023, we lived a modest yet fulfilling life.

Walid worked as a General Manager at Beauty Dental Clinics, and both of us served as Teaching Assistants at Al-Azhar University, contributing to the education of our community. Our little bundle of joy, Rehan, brought immense joy into our lives, making our home a place filled with laughter and love.

Our Story:

The events of October 7th, 2023, forever changed our lives. Israeli airstrikes and ground operations ravaged our beloved Gaza, leaving devastation in their wake. Al-Azhar University, where we devoted ourselves to educating future generations, bore the brunt of the destruction. Two branches of the Beauty Dental Clinics, where Walid worked tirelessly, were also severely impacted, rendering them inoperable. The siege imposed on Gaza exacerbated the situation, leaving us without income, electricity, and access to basic necessities.

Forced to flee our home in Gaza City to seek safety in Rafah, we left behind everything we held dear, including cherished memories and dreams. The news of our apartment building's destruction on November 11th shattered our hopes even further, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs and a profound sense of loss. Rehan, our precious daughter, lost her cozy room in the chaos, a stark reminder of the upheaval she has endured at such a tender age.

Our Mission:

Despite the adversities we face, we refuse to succumb to despair. We are determined to rebuild our lives and provide a better future for our precious daughter, Rehan. One of the most significant losses we endured was our home office, where Sara honed her talent as a freelance voice-over artist. (we are kindly inviting you to check her work on Fiverr ) The studio, meticulously designed to accommodate Sara's work, was reduced to ashes in the bombings. We lost essential equipment, including Sara's laptop, speakers, and voice-over cabinet, crippling her ability to continue her freelance work.
