Last night, Thanksgiving evening, in Heath Township, on Lincoln Road M-40 Highway North between 127th Avenue and 128th Avenue, at 6:29 p.m. , our dear friends Tim and Jessie Clark and their children were involved in a serious car crash. Tim is in critical condition, Jessie has multiple broken bones, and their 3-year-old was also injured. Thankfully, their baby is okay.

Tim and Jessie are a hardworking family who have always done their best to provide. But now they’re facing an overwhelming season: their only family vehicle was totaled, and Tim does not have health insurance, leaving the medical bills and recovery costs extremely difficult to manage.

With Tim being the sole provider and unable to work, this family urgently needs support.

UPDATE ON TIM & JESSIE

I just spoke again with Tim’s mom and here is the latest update:

Tim remains in critical condition and in a coma at Butterworth. He has a depressed skull fracture, three main brain bleeds, and several broken bones, including his clavicle, left femur, and right tibia and fibula, along with a large wound on his knee. The biggest concern right now is infection, as there was a lot of dirt and debris in his head from the accident.

He was taken into surgery around 11:30 this morning. The doctors are removing a large portion of his skull to relieve pressure, and if he stays stable afterward, they will begin working on his legs and placing metal rods. The brain portion of the surgery is expected to go until around 2:00.

The next 72 hours are very important for his brain and overall stability, but his vitals are currently strong.

Jessie has a broken ankle and is very sore and shaken, but she’s hanging in there. Grayson’s hand is fractured, and baby Leo is thankfully okay.
