Sylvia is a sweet 4-year-old, 5lb kitty who is a “forever kitten”. She’s always been so full of life—chasing her toys, playing, and curling up for cuddles whenever she can. She truly brings joy to everyone who meets her.

On Tuesday, September 9th, around 7 pm, Sylvia had a terrible accident. She fell from our second-story rail and was immediately rushed to the emergency vet. After 6 long hours in the ER, we were told the heartbreaking news: Sylvia’s arm is badly injured, and her only options are a costly surgery to repair it or a costly surgery to amputate the whole arm.

We want to do everything we can to give Sylvia the chance to live the active, playful life she loves. The surgeries are very expensive, and we can’t afford it on our own. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.

Please consider helping us bring awareness and raise the funds to give her the surgery she needs and give her the chance to keep being the happy, sassy, lively cat we all adore.

UPDATE: We received a heartbreaking diagnosis: her left humerus was shattered at the base, the joint fractured, and the nerves in her lower paw completely severed. Despite our hopes to save her arm—and many phone calls to specialists—the damage is irreversible. Sylvie will need a full amputation of her left arm.
