On behalf of my mother,  Siti Rahma (Siti), I am starting a “GoFundMe” page to help support the cost of her medical treatment. This past July, my siblings and I received devastating news that my mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast and Ovarian Cancer. The cancer has spread to other parts of her organs including her stomach, bladder, abdomen and paratracheal. Our entire family is distraught by this news, but my mums' strong will to fight cancer made us believe with a bag full of faith that she can be on the road to recovery.

With the help of modern medication, my mother is very determined to go through treatment and be part of an array of cancer survivors.

My mum is 67 years old, she is retired but leads an active lifestyle by constantly going to different learning centers to gain knowledge that might benefit her. She enjoys walking to different places that interest her. She has always been an affectionate person, albeit her relentless character, and shows her love and affection to her children and grandchildren.

She lost her husband, my dad, with his battle to lung cancer in 2013. She has always been instrumental in imparting positive thinking towards all her loved ones, to be strong and look at the brighter side of life. Her determination to battle cancer is definitely a path she is committed to with all her will.

The treatments that she will go through will be chemotherapy and immunotherapy which are costly and a long process. We are hoping to raise the funds and meet the number by October to ensure her treatment progress goes smoothly as planned by her doctors.
