Help TJ, 11, recovering from Cardiac Arrest

Donation protected

On the night of October 8th, our world was turned upside down. My son, TJ, woke up struggling to breathe. Despite our efforts and a nebulizer treatment, he lost consciousness, stopped breathing and his heart stopped. I performed CPR until the paramedics arrived, and thankfully, after doing CPR for roughly 8 minutes, before the paramedics arrived I was able to revive him and get him breathing but he was still in critical condition.

The doctors at the hospital told us that TJ had suffered a cardiac arrest and was put on a ventilator and put into a medically induced coma. They warned us that there could be brain damage due to the lack of oxygen. It was the longest day of our lives waiting to see if he would be okay.

Miraculously, TJ pulled through. He was able to breathe on his own and showed positive signs of brain function. However, he is still experiencing weakness in his legs and some short term memory loss and requires further tests, including an MRI, to assess any potential brain damage.

Unfortunately, the hospital doesn't accept our insurance, and the medical bills are piling up. We are also facing financial strain due to lost work time while caring for TJ.

To help with his recovery and mounting medical expenses, we are asking for your support. Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated. 100% of the proceeds will go towards TJ's medical bills and help us get back on our feet.
