On December 20, 2025 I was critically injured in a head-on collision. I was trapped in the overturned vehicle. In the emergency room I lost my life and had to be resuscitated.
I came out of that night with a large internal abdominal hematoma, a shattered hip and pelvis, a shattered right femur, severe chest trauma, and injury to a kidney. There was emergency abdominal surgery, a blood drive, and a long stretch where even basic things standing, eating, working were not guaranteed.
I am still on that road. Recovery has not been a straight line. There have been dangerous turns: persistent hiccups, vomiting, diarrhea, rapid weight loss, and real fear about the kidney after major surgery. Some scans and care had to be done privately because the hospital did not have the machine. Physio, follow-up, medication, and ordinary living costs continue while I cannot work the way I did before.
This page was opened for that fight. That has not changed. The money is still for medical care, testing, rehabilitation, and basic support while I rebuild strength.
What I need people to also know is this: watchRasta did not start after the crash. It was already in motion, a Rastafarian-inspired brand and platform for culture, community, apparel, event activations, and watchRasta.tv. The work was live before December 20. The accident almost ended both the person and the mission.
If that night had gone the other way, this work would have stopped with me. It didn’t. I am still here. So is watchRasta.
Every dollar now does two honest jobs:
Keep recovery moving — care, physio, scans, and the costs of not being able to work full time
Keep the mission standing — the site, the stories, the drops, the gatherings, so what was started before the crash can actually be finished
To everyone who has already given, shared, prayed, or checked in: thank you. There are 159 of you on this page as I write this. You carried the first stretch when it was only about surviving the night.
I am asking you to stay with the next stretch: getting well enough, and getting the work complete enough, that December 20 is not the end of the story.
Any amount, a share, or a prayer still matters.
