Support Displaced PHS Basketball Coach & Family

Donation protected
This week, the Eaton Wildfire devastated the Altadena community. Simaine, Tracy, their 7-year-old daughter Payton, older children Ellis, Tiyon, and Simaine Jr., and their dog Love have been significantly affected. While their home remains standing, toxic smoke damage has rendered it uninhabitable without major remediation and repair.

Additionally, Simaine’s mother’s home , located just blocks away, was completely destroyed by the fire. The family is now managing the immediate and long-term needs of two households.

Simaine has deep roots in the Altadena and Pasadena communities. He’s lived in their Altadena home for 22 years and grew up in his parents’ Altadena home, which is now gone. He is a proud John Muir High School alumnus. He has served the community as the former boys’ basketball coach at Muir and is currently the Girls’ Basketball Coach at Pasadena High School. Two of their older children, Tiyon and Simaine Jr. are also Muir alumni, continuing the family’s legacy of the Dena community connection.

Right now, their immediate needs include securing temporary housing for their family, replacing clothing and daily essentials, and covering expenses as they navigate disaster relief processes.

The Eaton Wildfire has left this family and their neighbors in an unimaginable situation. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping the Stewart’s recover.

Please join us in supporting this beloved family as they face the road ahead. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for keeping the Stewart’s and all of the Altadena community in your thoughts during this challenging time.
