Life-Changing Opportunity
I have been given the honor to represent the state of Ohio at the Miss United States International pageant this July and could not be more excited. Unfortunately, in order to participate in such a life-changing opportunity, there are a plethora of fees required for the week of the pageant in DC. I am asking family and loved ones who support my journey of trying to become the first, first-generation American Miss USI and the first person on the spectrum to win Miss United States International, for any contribution they are willing to make to help me get to nationals. I want to be representation for minority groups and people like myself who never had the confidence to embark on a journey like this. I want to show people that no matter where you come from or the resources you have, you too can make an impact on your community and be a role model for the next generation.
Estimated fees:
$1250 registration fee
$400 for 5 pageant days worth of meals
$400 transportation to and from Washington DC
$1,500 Miss USI glam squad
$1000 appearance wear (Gown, swimsuit, opening number, interview clothing, and United Nations symposium attire)
Total estimated cost for nationals participation:
$4,500
