Help Us Build Misfits Rescue – Swale, Kent

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read our story

We’re excited to officially introduce Misfits Rescue, a foster-based animal rescue supporting animals across Swale, Kent, with volunteers located throughout the area.

Misfits Rescue was created to support animals and their owners during times of need — whether through advice, rehoming support, or access to veterinary care, we aim to help wherever we can.

The Help We Can Currently Provide:

Right now, we are able to offer rescue spaces or waiting-list spaces for:

We also offer advice and guidance for other species where possible, so even if we can’t bring an animal into our care, we’ll always try to help.

Alongside rescue and rehoming work, we can provide lost and found support, including microchip checks, sharing posts, and offering advice to reunite pets with their families.

✨ Important Update:

Misfits Rescue is currently awaiting approval of our charity registration. While this process is ongoing, we are already actively preparing, fundraising, and supporting animals behind the scenes.

This GoFundMe is being run by us as individuals to raise funds solely for the care and welfare of rescued animals, and we keep clear records of all donations and spending.

Why We’re Fundraising:

Running a rescue — even a foster-based one — comes with unavoidable costs. Funds raised through this page will help cover:

Looking ahead, our long-term dream is to raise enough funds to secure land/a property, allowing Misfits Rescue to grow into a fully open rescue centre where even more animals can be helped

How You Can Help:
