Her beautiful daughter has been fighting Ewing sarcoma—a rare and aggressive bone cancer—for two years. The nightmare began when her daughter's arm broke unexpectedly, leading to a rapid tumor growth, urgent scans, biopsies, and a devastating diagnosis. Starting in August 2024, Diane's daughter underwent a grueling gauntlet of aggressive chemotherapy, targeted radiation, and intense surgery to remove the tumor. By late 2025, she finished chemo, and clear scans were celebrated at the end of December. But cancer is cruel. Just weeks later, in January, after returning from a trip to Mississippi, her daughter’s eye suddenly swelled. They rushed straight to the ER. Scans and surgery followed immediately. Now, Diane's daughter is back in the hospital, unable to keep food or liquids down, relying on a G-tube while doctors desperately run tests to figure out what is wrong.

While fighting for her daughter's life, Diane is also the sole provider and caregiver for her other child, who has autism. She has spent the last three weeks with zero income after her last job ended, and her new job starts next week. The stress of medical emergencies, job loss, and caring for two children is overwhelming.
