Karla was diagnosed with AITL T-cell lymphoma in June 2024, less than a year after her husband, John unexpectedly passed away. She hasn’t been able to go back to work this school year. She has endured 5 of 6 chemotherapy treatments already and will complete a Stem Cell Transplant in November at Anschutz Medical Center in Denver. Her parents, Carey and Hazel will be her main caregivers and they will spend at least 5 weeks in Denver. Stem Cell Transplant will take months to recover. Karla is so grateful for all the love and support received during this difficult journey. She would love the opportunity to share in a future conversation and a cup of coffee.
