Please help our friend and colleague Jo and her boyfriend Will. They were residents at the Sholom Institute in Malibu, where Will worked as a camp counselor / recreation manager. The Institute suffered total loss due to the Woolsey Fire.
During mandatory evacuation, Jo and Will spent their last few minutes saving the camp’s horses and other animals. They weren’t able to pack the majority of their clothes and personal items, and lost nearly everything. We’re trying to raise $5,000 to help them replace clothes, shoes, toiletries, and furniture. And hopefully, if there’s enough left, we'll be able to give them a head start toward renting another place to live. Any amount is a generous gift and greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing in our love and concern for a wonderful and much deserving couple. The last few days have been some of the worst for our community but compassion and generosity is how we show our best. #ThousandOaksStrong #805Strong
