Help Support the Homich Family

JBS Cranes has recently lost a key employee and our planned successor, Dan Homich. Dan passed away suddenly while out of town at a hoist training school. He was 34 years old, an extremely dedicated husband, and father of 3 young children. He is survived through his wife Chelsea, his 5 year old daughter Izzy, his 2 year old daughter Emma, and his 1 year old son Brady.  Dan was a highly intelligent, dedicated individual and a model employee, perfectly suited to carry on the JBS Cranes business. His dedication to his family was unparalleled, to the point where he negotiated his children’s Birthdays as “off days” prior to coming on board. Dan was only with JBS for 11 weeks, but he was fast transforming the company towards a stronger and brighter future with his vast array of skills. Dan was a fit, healthy, and active individual. In fact, he recently moved a treadmill into his office so that he could exercise while reading technical manuals. His dedication to his wife & family was unmatched, and he was ecstatic when given the opportunity to provide a bright and self directed future for them.

Dan recently joined the Association of Iron & Steel Technology in the hopes of furthering his future and contributing to the Industry. Dan will be dearly missed by all of whom he touched throughout his life. Our overall goal is to provide a stable future for his family in these trying times. JBS Cranes will be creating a foundation in his honor, through which, a portion of all sales will be donated to help support Dan’s family. We are starting here, with this GoFundMe page, to help with any immediate needs (such as funeral costs, living expenses, etc.) and we will continue to build from there. As things develop, we will be sure to update our donors with any available information.
