Halima’s children are walking through the most painful chapter of their lives. Beloved Halima—a devoted and loving mother of four, including her eldest son Aaron and his three younger sisters—will soon be entering hospice care. After years of fighting through unimaginable medical challenges, her doctors have told the family that she will be transitioning soon.

Halima’s medical journey has been long, cruel, and deeply unfair.

She suffered her first stroke in 2020 at just 35 years old.

Since then, she endured multiple strokes, including a major one in April 2025 that changed her life forever. She faced immense medical challenges and lost sight in her left eye, yet she continued to fight with courage and quiet strength.

Her final stroke on November 14th, 2025 left her comatose, on life support, with complications she could not recover from.

Through every setback, Halima held on for one reason—her children. They are her world. And now, these four children are preparing to lose the only parent they have.

The children want to give their mother, Halima, a peaceful resting place—something simple, beautiful, and worthy of the love she gave so freely. The cost of laying their mother to rest is far more than the family can manage alone. Most of all, the children need to have a place where they can visit her, talk to her, and feel close to her as they try to pick up the pieces and transition to a life without her.

The children have been at the hospital every single day since November 14th, 2025, surrounding their mother with love and comfort. At the same time, they have been enduring excruciating pain and fear as they have watched their mother’s life slowly slip away.

This has been a time of emotional and financial crisis for the children, and the road ahead will be filled with even more challenges. Halima’s medical struggles and imminent passing have created a financial hardship, and this fundraiser is set up to help ease the burdens that Halima’s children now face. Funds will help cover funeral expenses, provide a peaceful resting place, and support the children's living needs as they adjust and try to navigate a life without their mother.
