I am a
sophomore in high school aspiring to play college volleyball one day. I am a left
handed setter on the team. The setter is much like the
quarterback in football or the point guard in basketball, I'm in charge of the
offense. I decide who should get the ball and when. I have been training in
volleyball for three years. I have attended several college volleyball clinics
and overnight camps during my summer vacations. I just finished the season with
my high school varsity volleyball team and now have an opportunity to play and
train with one of Atlanta's top volleyball Clubs!!! I am so excited
about this opportunity because it will help me sharpen my volleyball skills to
compete at the USA Volleyball tournaments as well as provide me exposure to
more competition. The sport of volleyball has taught me teamwork, leadership,
and the importance of academic achievement. My ultimate goal is to obtain a
volleyball scholarship for college.
