Donation protected
Ryan James Furniss passed away, surrounded by his loving wife and children, on Wednesday July 2nd 2025, after a short and very bravely fought battle against two separate types of cancer, blood clots, and severe pain.
His wife and family are devastated and heartbroken and are in need of much financial support as they try to navigate a new reality without their rock.
If you can help, whatever amount, it would be forever appreciated, either through here or preferably via Venmo (see pictures for Venmo account or search @rebekah-furniss on Venmo).

Hi, I’m Jaimi, and my sister and brother-in-law have been struck down financially with two medical challenges at the same time. On the same night their youngest child, Solomon, had to be hospitalized for RSV, his father, my brother-in-law Ryan, was also hospitalized for what we now know to be a massive stomach tumor. This tumor is malignant and has spread to surrounding lymph nodes.
Due to the tumor’s size and location, Ryan is barely able to eat or go to the bathroom, and there are major concerns of intestinal blockages until the tumor can be shrunk through medication. And the medication is slow-acting. Therefore, Ryan will now have to be out of work for an indefinite amount of time.
Ryan was in the hospital for a week and Solomon for several days. Fortunately, Ryan has some insurance coverage, but Solomon’s insurance had just lapsed.
Not only is the family now facing terrible cancer news and a long medical journey, but they now have a huge medical bill and the loss of a second income.
This is the most wonderful family. They have raised talented, service-oriented, spiritual, loving, and amazing children. They have ten children (suffering the loss of their last child at birth several years ago) with six remaining at home. This is a financially devastating situation for them. Please, anything you can do to help them would be so needed and appreciated!
