DaRa Williams, a deeply loved and widely respected Insight Meditation teacher and Indigenous Focusing Orienting Trainer, has generously offered her skill and support to the Insight and IFOT Communities for many years. DaRa has a long history of working with personal, ancestral, and collective trauma. Now, we can support her.
DaRa's dear husband, Semaj, a Vietnam combat veteran, recently suffered a second stroke and is recovering at home. DaRa has become his primary caretaker, as well as caring for her 96 year-old mother who is also homebound.
To her communities and all who cross her path, DaRa brings a wise heart grounded in generosity. We are seeking donations to support DaRa and her family through this challenging time. Our aim is to provide financial assistance that will allow DaRa to work less, and care for herself through access to alternative forms of healthcare and healthy, organic food.
