WHO WE ARE?
KSF is a family owned business that the surrounding community loves. We offer tons of services to parents and kids alike with the best of quality to make them feel right at home. We offer Summer Camps, After School Program, Sports Instruction & Performance Training, Youth Classes, and Indoor Batting Cage Rentals.

WHAT HAPPENED?
At the start of 2020, KSF started it's third year in business and things were looking good. All of our programs were growing, but unfortunately we were forced to shut down for 2 months due to COVID-19. Yet we were still responsible for paying $21,000 in rent monthly. As we only had the equivalent of two fulltime employees, including me, we didn't pursue the forgivable PPP Loan. We were fortunate to receive an SBA loan at a low interest rate at the end of May. This helped us pay rent for April and May and I anticipated that life would return to normal mid-June and our summer camp would generate the profit necessary for the remainder of the year. That didn't happen. Our enrollment was down 70% from last year's enrollment. That hurt!!! Then I anticipated our afterschool program would be as it was pre-COVID, but that didn't happen. We had 22 children and now have 4.
WHAT WE WILL DO WITH FUNDS?
Things will return to normal but we need to make it to the end of the year. We will be using funds as a replacement to what our After School Program would bring in until it picks back up. Our goal is to make rent, but if we could handle payroll that would be fantastic. We will get through this tough time and prevail in 2021.
