My wife, Erin, will be admitted for inpatient mental health treatment on Sunday July 8th. She will be in residence at The Ranch in Nunnelly, TN; likely for a minimum of 30 days. Erin will undergo a customized treatment plan, utilizing in-depth clinical therapies and experiential and community therapies. This GoFundMe is intended to raise money to pay for the cost of treatment, along with other ancillary expenses. The initial goal of $9,750 is one-half of our total cost for 30 days of treatment. Insurance may cover some of the costs; it also may not cover anything at all. We hope she will be home in 30 days, but Erin will be in treatment as long as deemed necessary, regardless of cost. The goal may be adjusted as more information regarding treatment becomes available.
Background

Erin is the mother of our four children and the heart and soul of our family. If you’ve met her, you know of the joy Erin can bring to any situation with her infectious smile and vibrant personality. Many of you know her as a friend, a mother, a community member - and most of all, a loving friend.
But as she’s grown and moved through different seasons of life, Erin has fought many mental health battles throughout much of her teenage and adult life. While some of these challenges are similar to those many of you may face, many of Erin’s mental health struggles have been more severe. Some of you are aware of various aspects of her story, but in the interest of her privacy, additional details won’t be posted on the internet.
Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. (John 16:20, NIV)

Erin’s battles are very real and painful, yet they are a part of her and have helped shape the woman she is today. It is a testament to her courage that she is willing to take this time away from her family in order to take care of herself, learn new skills, and become stronger for the lifetime of joy that remains.
We are forever grateful for any support you can give, whether it be prayer or the smallest of donations. The cost of treatment could conceivably be less than the initial goal of $9,750, but it is far more likely to have a net cost above this amount. Any funds not needed for medical expenses or debt will be saved for future educational expenses for the children.
Please message me (Bryan) with questions. If you'd like the mailing address to send Erin postal mail, I will be happy to provide that as well. Check back here for periodic updates, and always be assured of our love and prayers.
