‼️UPDATE‼️ The doctor gave her the results she is ER+/PR+ and HER2-. Which is all good but the mass is too large to remove so she has to start chemo soon. As of now which could change after genetic testing results come back in a week and a half but she can have a lumpectomy or take one with reconstruction or both with reconstruction which is what he recommended her to do, but it is ultimately her decision on which route she wants to take. She sees her oncologist in a week and a half to get the port put in and she will have to have her decision made by then on which route she wants to take!

Hi, I am Jen, my friend, Cindy, was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. She went for a wellness check on the 9th had a mammogram, then a sonogram on the 10th. Then she had two biopsies done on the 12th in the arm lymph node and on the left breast. With the results given on the 16th that she was diagnosed with IDC. On the 23rd she is to see a surgeon in cape and have a genetic test that same day as well. She is a single mother of two beautiful bright children and will be unable to work.
